Volunteers are vital to the overall well being, both physically and mentally, of shelter animals.  They provide care and love to them as they wait in a safe place for their new families.

 

Help is needed cleaning and caring for both cats and dogs.  

They need love and attention, brushing and walks, laundry piles

up quickly.. the list goes on and on. 

 

During "kitten season" fosters are needed. 

 

Volunteers also help with the improvements and / or repairs around the shelter grounds.  We also have "off-site" adoption events that are manned primarily by volunteers.

 

If you have a few hours a week to give, and are at least 18 years old, please talk to the ASO about becoming a volunteer.
